a poof! (male Nurse) well.....male Nurse anyway After working in IT for years, pissed that off & worked as a PC (personal carer) just for a break. In short, decided there was a long future in nursing (never out of work) so, got my degree whilst working as a carer 35hrs a week (alot of beer for the stress/boredom) Now, I work @ hospitals & N-Homes where I get paid to watch real-life horror stories unfold before my eyes 24/7! Yeeeeeah

just about to become a 3rd year electronics apprentice, same thing as tc3-racer is doing but i few years down the line. i work at a poker machine company where we produce alot of our own products, which i do most of the time. ive recently become more involved with the design of all the new products and im now doing all the CAD work for the metal work and some of the electronic side of things.
so basicly i do a CAD designers job on an apprentice wage

if you dont mind me asking dean, what kind of money are you on with your CAD work? im just trying to get an idea so i can get up a good case and go have a chat with the managers to try get more money for the car lol. you can PM me or message me if you still have my number. oh and good luck tonight

After tomorrow, I used to be a Building Designer/Architectural Technician for high rise commercial/office buildings. When you get to the top, the view really does suck, so I'm moving on... I'm going to rediscover myself over the coming months, and am considering something to do with computers and photography, while still probably working on the odd residential projects. But depending on what happens, I might be a bit of a free spirit, and move around some.

If anyone wants to give me a PT job building/selling PCs, I'd be pretty happy.
Gav.

3 of my cousins are doing/studying it, and one of them does alright out of it on an international level [portrait photography! ]. But yeah, I do fully realise how challenging it is to make a living out of it, that's also satisfying. One of my flatmates years gone, was a wedding photographer, and he did alright out of it. But then, that's not in the satisfying end of the industry... But I'd be happy building/servicing/diagnosing and selling putas just the same.

I work as an IT Project Manager for a large Energy Utility company. Have been contracting for the last 20 months there. But after several contracts later with weeks off in between each one, I've just got a temp full time gig there, hoping to get it on a permanent basis.

35 hours a week - 9 day fortnight ain't too bad either!
