[QLD] PICS of the Tamborine and GC Hinterland (56k Warning)

Here's a few pics that i took of the cruise before i had to depart for work, it was a great day none the less, please feel free to post your pics up too.

Above pics were taken while we we waiting for Andy who got lost on the highway and took the wrong exit.

These pics was taken at our first bush walk, didn't take photos of those big lizards, well i did but i had the photos it took were out of focus so you can't see the lizards.

that bushwalk looks absolutely beautiful! i work in a bushland education centre and occassionally get the chance to take the bushwalks where the centre is located....but in comparison, that river (in the photos) among the rocks is breathtaking! i will have to head there on my trip to QLD in june!!

It's ok, hopefully some of the other guys will put up some more photos from the creak and rainforest walk (AND THE GIANT LIZARDS!).
Leigh if you appreciate bushwalks and waterfalls, we could organise a walk at these places plus the natural bridge (which I think puts the stuff at Tamorine to shame).
There's also a big waterfall at Warrick, that would really make for a big cruise since it takes 2 hours to get there from Brisvegas... OH MY GOODNESS!

Looking forward to some more piccies please,
Gav.

you need to up load the pics online to another site like photobucket.com or something, after you've done that you need to put on your post {img}web page where it is{/img} but use [] instead of {} but on that site it shows how to do it anyway. you'll just need to copy the links under the pics you post on that site and paste the link in the reply box.

There seems to be an apparent lack of BAs without Dwayne. On a good note it still seems that you all were overrun by "Team Grey" yippee. Nate where are your pics??
What was the "surprise"??
It seems taht all involved had a great day.
I am thinking of looking into a Maleny mountains cruise for when the Bat starts to roll again for those interested, but I am going to save that one for after the June festivities.
Keep the pics coming guys
Gav I am sure you will manage a good write up of the day

yep it was lamington national park - the really skinny rd that dad drove up? (binna burra entrance) with the treetop walk and the ladder with the lookout? and u chased a bush turkey around for a bit? that place was awesome!! i'd have to say that would rate as one of the most beautiful places i've ever been to (and i have been overseas...). i wanna stay at that hotel (binna burra lodge) up there with those beautiful sweeping views of the valley also would kill to get a job at the enviro education centre up there. actually, it's not very far from mt tamborine at all!
http://lamington.nrsm.uq.edu.au/LamingtonIntro.htm

and before james had even posted anything about nate and his bare feet, i was looking thru the photos thinking "you know, i don't think nate even OWNS a pair of shoes! everytime i can remember seeing him, he's been sans shoes!!" hehe

pads - stock series 6 rx7 pads. so obviously with better pads, "what's brake fade?"

nah i'll leave the rear as is. i have lucas pads in there at the moment and they do fine, but for track work i'd get track pads
