3rd spam in a row.

Miki - Anything to report on the Prelude? Heard how it is through the hills but is it any better in traffic, or on fuel etc?

Think I'll need to get suspension/brake work done on my car in the next 10,000kms. Starting to feel on its last legs.

11L/100km

trafic its ok, nice and comfy, sun roof is wicked, climate control ah so good.

like the seating position now, love the brakes, handbrake is pretty good.

top speed, good, holds high speed well, better than the astina.

the vtec range is wicked, when i hit vtec i have about as much power as sams astina (around the 145kw) so thats a nice thing.

low end isn't so impressive tho. but then again astina likes to be reved as well.

teh exhaust has a nice tone, i think its a 2" and it breathes better, the engine is very responsive, if this car was a manual it would be fast, but even then the astina would out handle it.

Last sunday i was on a prelude crusie, left the ludes 2 corners in and went toe to toe with a VR4 galant (AWD turbo - evo spec engine 177kw at all 4) and i was up his arse all the way to loby. He had bright red rotors when we stopped and the astina was fine. I was so impressed, and so was he, he couldn't believe it.

Tomorrow im going on a Gti cruise, but as a passenger, i cant wait, my mate is a wicked driver and it should be awesom fun.

Overall the astina is a better hills car, the honda is a cruisy (look at me im a creamer) kind of car. Comfy, nice to drive and nice to look at but as far as handling goes - astina wins hands down.

saw a perfect example of a BA hardtop last night.

White, P plater, looked lowered and it was travelling side by side my blue astina away from town down port road. Tidy as.

Looked awesom, very sensible driving too, well done who ever it was. It looked to be I4 and not a V6 given the lack of foglights and the wheels.

Absolutelly spotless. I wanted to have a chat at the lights but never occured and the guy turned off somewhere so i lost him.

OMG my mate with a VR4 Galant that i mentioned in the post above, has a twin brother who sold a AWD TX3 Turbo and bought a Mazda Familia GTR. Oh so sexy. Saw this thing last night and... WOW.

Everything about it is so cool, small quick, sleek, low, not over done. Real vents on the bonett. Actual Jap spec. So so so cool.

In the same vein as the VR4 and the Familia...

Spotted a red Pulsar GTi-R on Morphett Road. Was coming the opposite way. Dropped a gear and boosted past somebody (not recklessly). Love those little cars!!!

I've seen a pimped BA a couple times recently. Chromies with a loud exhaust and a few stickers. Belongs to a female driver. See it near the airport.

where abouts do you normally find yourself driving.

ie which side of town.

in order to spot the astina you gotta be; at my house, come on a cruise or be very very lucky to see me drive it around on that rare occasion.

my honda on the other hand you can spot around the western suburbs mostly, town and bay.
