An Annoying rattle in the drivers side door!

Has anyone else got a rattle in the drivers side door somewhere where the window controlls are. I am going slowly insain trying to find the source of the noise.

I have taken the door off and tightened everything I could see it might be, so far with no luck.

Has anyone else got this? And if you do/did how do I get rid of it.

Only seams to happen at certen speeds.

Helpfull info please.. I know i can drown it out with my sterio or drive diff speeds but thats not always an option.

Thanks! Raven.

have a look at where the interior handle door rod leading to the lock goes through the metal in the door. it should have a peice of foam round it to stop it hitting the metal.
also the lock rod where it goes into the door button.
sometimes the whole lock mechanism vibrates

but if you do tighten that, only tighten them, to hand tight, don't force them etc... i work with glass all day and regularly drill through the stuff... if you put too much stress on the glass, it will leave nice shattering!!!

and yes as was said go crazy on the foam tape - its your friend, right next to the basic toolbox containing a sledge hammer, and a roll of gaffa tape
