What constitutes a licence is QLD?!

Hey QLDers!! My lovely bunch of ppls

You're lovely government sent me a letter in the mail, telling me that due to the fact they can't find any evidence that i have a driver's licence (????), I cannot drive in QLD for a period of 3 mths starting from the end of June.......

Could sum1 explain how exactly your Govt works? hahahaha I have had a licence for nearly 9yrs.....and apart from one doosy, have never had any problems with it.

Computer glitch? I don't know if i can even be bothered to ring the 13.... number and waste my money telling sum1 i have had a NSW licence for quite a while now....
Has any1 eva had this issue? NSW or QLD?

do not do a thing, if they cant find you then they cant deduct points from your license either. if you tell them who you are, then they will do so.

The fact that they sent you this information via Aus Post I am assuming means that they can not GUARANTEE that you have received it
Therefore you dont have to respond and then Ryans quote comes into play
Forget about it for now theres no legal standing on their point here

lol pete! that's exactly what the Olds said. and that was what i was planning to do. and i couldn't exactly understand where they found my address to send me the letter if they didn't have my licence details.....ahem yes
but i do like that idea that if they can't find me in the system, then no points get deducted. even thou i am a lucky person most of the time, i doubt i'd be that lucky hehehe
