lol thats like me i got them, spent hours installing them properly, broke one in the process got a replacement. myn were black lite and on the inside so they hurt my eyes (i had a plan to paint the roof black and use clear to white UV paint and use a stencil to draw my coat of arms, so when u turn them on it glows... i turned them on once and they were annoying lol

here's a pic of my new toys

these will make a total of 3 lcds in my car haha

might just get a leather retrim, have a bit more shape added to the standard seats, and have these put in
Bride's may have been a bit over the top, would have worked out same price in the end most probably though

forged rods mate
Unfortunatley that wont solve the problem, it will prolong the life of the motor at those revs but wont enable to rev any higher really.

The FS-DE has a very small rod ratio, around 1.49. For instance a B18C has a rod ration around the 1.58 mark IIRC, while the K20 has a ratio around the 2 mark. Which combined with a dynamic head make it a N/A guys wet dream really.

Its the acceleration that kills the engine due to the 92mm stroke. If forged rods are used then you still run the risk of the piston and rod seperating on the down stroke. Basically to get these engines running high revs requires a fair bit of cash and alot of thought if anyones interested in going down this route talk to LW or ask me and ill pass on what ive learnt.
