Very very schmick car that one, id like to see the bonnet scoop on it. I noticed the hole in the bonnet. Flared guards look nice

Wow, another turboed 1.8!!! Well, Andrew and I talked to this guy at the drags months ago when he was NA. He's not a member of AGT, but he has been invited a couple of times. I'm guessing he's on boost cruising instead?

1.8L BJII Protegé with a small snail. Only met the guy once, I think Andrew has met him twice. Not a member on AGT.
I don't mind the front bumper, but I find the downforcer wing to be too much...

oh yeah, i remember speaking to this guy. mr plough i think was his name....

anyway, it was good to see a "show" car drag racing for a change. wasnt quick or anything...high 17's from memory

but looking at the pics, i REALLY REALLY HATE the way the front guard flares have been smoothed into the guards, but the rear flares are just stuck on. would look far better to be smoothed in as well. just looks wrong.

tidy - i'm pretty sure that's the stocko blue.

mobsta - no bonnet scoop. the holes in the sound deadening are for mazda detail stickers on the bonnet.

thats the turbo 323 i was talking about on the brizzy autosalon thread.
spoken to him on the friday when he was setting up the show.
he spent $6500 on converting the motor into turbo, i remember that was a T28 turbo he has there.

Interesting, widebody is cool I suppose, but I personally think the front bar is ugly, But isn't starry blue an awesome colour (not biased or anything! )
