So, revealing how little I know about cars, it turns out that my exhaust actually has a hotdog already. My mate told me fitting another would likely make it drone more, so I guess I'm going to have to get used to it. Been a little over a week since the exhaust was fitted.

Guess I'll save my pennies and get a Perry.

Definitely keen for a cruise, I've just got a few minor things wrong with the car at the moment however once that's all sorted (should take a few days) then we'll go from there!

Car looks great by the way

/shakes fist.

No worries, I figure we should probably set it in advance so we can be organised.

And thanks. If you look closely, you can see the average photoshop I did on the paint scratch on the front bumper, hahaha.

Yeahhh, just a few thousand dollars :/

Cost the same money for a KL swap as it would for a turbo upgrade.

Have looked very seriously into both options.
KL actually comes in at more expensive and wayyyyyy more of a pain in the ass than the turbo.

I'm not really surprised. But in any case, the lottery will be the only way this will ever happen. And if it does, then we'll have a boosted KL.

/dreams.

But if someone offered me the choice, I think I'd go KL just for the torque and V6 reppin'. I know I'm probably wrong, but I'd rather look after an N/A "other engine" than a turbo, even on a safe tune. That just seems "safer" to me.

But also the fact that if I went turbo, I'd probably want to do a manual conversion as well...

Thanks, only con is that, because it has the funny dipped in lip, it gets SO DIRTY. If I left it alone it might look okay because it would just be black, but I like the shiny, hahaha.

Who doesn't like shiny haha. Mine are tucked under the rear bumper so I dont really care how dirty they get... I will be changing them to something a little more nicer though

Now that I think about it, maybe I should just paint it black and save myself the trouble! Unless the gunk inside the exhaust is less black than the black paint...

This is a possibility i may consider... just mask up the outer part of the tip (the bit you want shiny) mask up rear bumper and spray inside the muffler heatproof black. mmmmm, job for the weekend me thinks

Probably a job that will end up on the "eventually, if ever" list for me.

SP20 front bar and side skirts are on the way from Rupe!

Buuut it'll be a while before I can afford to put them on. IIRC the skirts are black though, so I might see if I can get them on just for sh*ts and giggles.

You are also going to need the inner guard liners off a SP20 to be able to correctly fit the front bumper IIRC.

Already noted! Another one of the reasons I'll need a lot of money, almost $130 per side new from Mazda.

Efficient!

Holy sh*t! That was quick. Now to wait until I have enough money to get them painted and fitted, and gather all the little bits and pieces to put them on.
