yeah i was coming around a pretty sharp bend, plus the harsh rain didnt help either, kept sliding and next thing you know, im in the pole.
i dont know what to do now, so devo. had heaps of plans for her :'( |

yeah i had full comprehensive insurance, but the excess i gotta pay is 1550 haha. hopefully its a write off, and i should get a decent amount back.

OMG.. that's awlful. Main thing is you're ok though. Hopefully the insurance company is good to you and I'd say they'll write it off just looking at it. Bloody rain is so dangerous on Australia roads.. they get SO greasy!

definently! it was pretty scary moment but ay. not something i wanna go through again.
and i just completed the full exhaust system like last week. i was enjoying the purr of her. you know wats funny, it was due for service this morning haha ..maybe i shud have fitted her with mega phat ass tires..then i probably would have stuck on the road lol |

trust me when the roads wet, bigger tyres grip is negligible ive lost a stock v6 commodore driving round a roundabout sensibly cause my foot slipped (i just got in the car shoes were wet went for the brake, hit the brake on the corner and the shoe slid off tapped accelerator) the car had the widest tires possibl, and were good all round sports tires.
needless to say it got sideways one way, over corrected, sideways the other way another over correction and a 180 into a flower bed backwards, i bent a rim on the gutter. luckily it was my brothers car i borrowed it after my old car got written off (that story in readers rides - never liked it thus the smiling) moral of the story after a storm stay extra cautious and dry your shoes before u start the car.
