That sucks, man. Is that a police officer behind? Hope you get a decent settlement from your insurance. Well, at least you're still here and alive!

OMG.. that's awlful. Main thing is you're ok though. Hopefully the insurance company is good to you and I'd say they'll write it off just looking at it. Bloody rain is so dangerous on Australia roads.. they get SO greasy!

trust me when the roads wet, bigger tyres grip is negligible ive lost a stock v6 commodore driving round a roundabout sensibly cause my foot slipped (i just got in the car shoes were wet went for the brake, hit the brake on the corner and the shoe slid off tapped accelerator) the car had the widest tires possibl, and were good all round sports tires.

needless to say it got sideways one way, over corrected, sideways the other way another over correction and a 180 into a flower bed backwards, i bent a rim on the gutter. luckily it was my brothers car i borrowed it after my old car got written off (that story in readers rides - never liked it thus the smiling)

moral of the story after a storm stay extra cautious and dry your shoes before u start the car.
