Skidpan / Driver Ed. Day - 24th May 2009

Date:- Sunday 24th of May, 2009

Where:- Roadcraft Driver Education Centre in Gympie, (easy to find from highway.)

Cost:- $105 per person, (lunch will be included.)

12 cars only - So everyone gets alot of time with the instrutor and sideway time.
No competition licenses required - Easy.
Minimal paperwork, and it's only you and 11 other mates.
We will set up a little mini motorkhana for the last few hours of the day.
Link to where we will be driving/learning:- http://www.drivertraining.com.au/

How to pay:-

A deposit of $25.00 is required to book yourself in for the day. PM me for the banking details. The balance will need to be payed at a later date, (See below.) your deposit needs to be paided asap. Otherwise left over spots after 10 days, (after 12th of March) will be offered to others.

When you make your payment, please include the following reference as "SKID + your username" please. So I'm aware of who has paid. Then PM me with your username, real name, contact phone number.

---

The balance of $80.00 will be required by the 20th of April. I'll start asking people for it on the 10th of April. All moneys payed are non-refundable, but I have no problem with anyone selling their spot/s to another member/s if they need to pull out for any reason/s.

<<<PAID>>>
1. project.r.racing +1.5 - Paid in full. ($110)
2. marcs_sp20 +1 - Paid in full. ($110)
3. zappy65 +1 - Paid in full. ($110)
4. karamello - Paid in full. ($105)
5. chicaboo - Paid in full. ($105)
6. Mad Mat - Paid in full. ($105)
7. Noddi_76 - Paid in full. ($105)
8. Newman +1 - Paid in full. ($110)
9. ROB-80E +1 - Paid in full. ($110)
10. MINTpolo - Paid in full. ($105)
11. Rally Ninja - Paid in full. ($105)
12. 70NYD +1 - Paid in full. ($110)

---

Some google map links:-

From Springwood...

From Ipswich...

I think/assume Steve/RX8 will just park on the side of the highway just past Anzac Av, and wait for everyone to pass by.
So others need to look at the linked maps, and find where the best place to wait for everyone else.
I myself will be waiting somewhere around the Nambour/Maroochydore on the highway.
So no one has to go backwards to a meet point. Just wait beside the highway and next follow everyone past when they do.
So, Maccas Springwood, people who can meet there, please do, and then depart at 6am.
Give everyone a toot/horn to let them know you are passing by.

---

Roadcraft are happy for us to bring passengers along. There is a limit of 1 passenger only per car for this event. Do not bring any more than 1 person with you on the day also. Please do not break these rules, I do not wish to refuse entry to anyone that does.

Passengers are allowed to be inside the cars throughtout the day, but only when the instructor says it is okay to do so.

If you do bring a friend, let me know before you pay the balance of your fees. All extras will need to pay $5 for lunch. So the $5 will need to be paid when you pay your balance.

only problem with sunscreen is it makes my hands slippery which has adverse properties for vehicle control, as for the hat ... my hair is my hat.

This is gonna be a blast...go easy on the instructor Gav, I don't want him smelling like da poos when he gets in my car.

Hi mate,

Have you got any more details on what the format of the day will be? What driver taining/course we will be doing? How much time on the track are we expected to get with the numbers involved. Is there more than 1 instructor? You mentioned motorkhana...cut loose sessions etc etc? Just so we know exactly what will be going on.

Cheers
