Initial D Movie(live action)

I'm not sure if you've already read in the msportege forums, but apparently there's going to be a live action(real actors/actress) Movie.

It looks like it's a Chinese or Hong Kong movie(should be chinese, because you can find cars like these in china but you can in Hong Kong But there are Chinese actors in it), because of the chinese cast. And it was written that filming started at the start of this year.

Anyway's here are the pics from the site:

And the release date is suppose to be this year.

yeah i heard abt it a while ago, but thanx for the up dated pics. looks awesome..

i think it's hk, but filmed in japan, as when i went to japan in april,, my friend wanted to go to the town where they were filming it and hopefully get a glips... the chances were unlikely so we didn't go.

can't wait to see it.

oh i also have a sneak shot of the cast and cars.. hehehe

Would be very interesting to see real time action pulled off successfully, and still true to the series. Will be keeping my eye on this for further developments.

As a fan of Monkey and the Iron chef I hope they film in Japaneese with the most ill timed and inappropriate english over dubbing :lol: :lol: :lol:
