Yeah,
1. Skyline GTRs come without turbos. 2. "What you see on TV isn't drifting". 3. To drift you need "locked shocks". 4. ZRE Corollas skidpan better than BMW Z4 Roadsters. 5. ZZE Corollas can't skidpan for $#!T. 6. You really can knock over every witch's hat if you try hard enough. 7. Witch's hats are really hard to get out from under a lowered car. Gav. |

Lol he told us that aswell, and it also increases fuel economy lol, he was like when holden do their fuels per litre testing they get their tyres to 91 psi
and i'm just like and if they hit something like a nail can't u just imagine the bang that would come out of the tires. did he tell u about the accidents he's had to deal with etc? |

I thought he said the 91psi was on a Falcon GT that was there. Seriously, I tried doing a touge with my tyres at 40psi once, and it was like dribbling basket balls on every corner. Drop the pressures down to 36psi, and no worries, still a bit on the firm side though... Mind you, I think the 38psi Mitch was using was a good balance for a skidpan.
And yeah, we heard about the accidents too. One good thing about him though, he hates traffic cops. |

got your stories messed up gav, 91psi tyres were for the corolla'a, and the falcon gt story was about a bloke spinning out all the time & then his missus getting in & driving fine...

lol higher pressure in tyres WILL give you better fuel consumption, der, but if your gonna run it at 90+ psi for standard tire you might as well run it on the rim cus you will get the same contact area haha. like on lets say 90 PSI you will have 2 times less road contact as you would with 45 PSI and so you will have 2 times less roling resistance so better economi but u will also have much much worse handling... i think he just over exagarates on everything..

Gav's got the story right, he was talking about some bro that turned up in a Falcon with 90psi which is wrong/bad.
Corollas tyres were at around 50psi which he said was optimum for handling/braking etc. as he figured it. Still too uncomfortable for the road though imo. |
