I just paid $408 for 4 slotted DBA discs and QFM HPX pads delivered, TC Racer just paid $414 for 4 x RDA discs and the more expensive A1RM pads.

Keep an eye on that part of the forums. They have fairly regular specials and are very good prices!

DBA slotter rotor are by far the better choice.
They also look a hell of a lot better

After looking at phils and mine, we both agreed that the centres of the dba are way better and won't rust! Who knows which perform better, went for a drive in phils car and I think the brakes on mine are a touch better at the moment... But its early days, totally different cars and different tyres. I'd go remsa pads, I pad only a few dollars more than the hpx but have 650 degree temps and grip as well if not better than the hpx. But, they are dusty. They would be the next step up though. Greg mentioned something about ferraris or porshe use them, don't quote me on that.

Low dust on the hpx, which is one of their selling points. Now get onto Greg and see what he can do for.you!

ok, but you really need to either find a set of dealer plates or find someone who will let you borrow them for a day...

ok so I rang up old mate Greg at GSL rally sport an qoute follows

dba slotted rotors: $99.00 each (front and rears)
and qfm hpx pads 79.00 for front set and 79.00 for rear set
so all up looking at $400 for rotors
and $160 for all round brakes
so time to start saving :$
but joke of the day I called auto barn and they quoted me $250 per rotor front and 158 per rear rotor lol I just laughed and didn't bother asking about brakes

Hey guys do you know if these prices are similar for the SP20 / Laser SR2?

Do you think GSL would give me a good price if i mentioned the forum?

not really the forum so much as generally a good (small) company with equally small prices. they are on the southside close to logan so pickup and a chat may even be an option (read another $15 cheaper!) the best thing imho is that I've always recieved the correct parts. radiator, clutches etc as well as brakes...

I wish I could have a sort of gold coin donation involving my entire state, that way I could buy my upcoming mods
DBA slotted rotors
Qfm hpx brakes
Whiteline swaybar/ strutbrace
And 18" wheel and tyre pack from Tempe tyres

Also just a thought would there be any intrest in a stock v6 front strut brace and how much would you( interested person) be willing to pay
