The purpose of a pod filter is to suck in air. Therefore, makes a sucking sound???

Oh, you need a 3" straight through exhaust. Then you won't hear your pod filter sucking sound.

it just doesnt sound normal, obviously a pod filter sucks more in hence the sound but i didnt realise it would be so loud.

And abbreviations arent any better Kris for a new person to understand... WOT = Wide open Throttle = foot to the floor

Can I ask why you have gone with a pod filter over a better panel filter? have a look at this and you'll probably change your mind

Oh, and I dont wanna see you get in trouble, but exposed pods are illegal in NSW.

Thats cause they dont do anything power wise.

What isn't established is area under the curve, throttle response, shape of the curve etc.

the stock air filter makes the same sucking noise. the nise is just suppressed in the airbox, piping and resinator within the original air intake system.

puting a pod system in removed all these noise suppression devices.

My car makes an awesome sound under full throttle, so much so I have to keep an eye out for small children and pets as im afraid that it might suck them up as well.
The noise my car makes under full throttle when the VICS kicks in at 5500 RPM is awesome.
