Kitty & Aaron Hit Melbourne - 10th - 15th Aug!

Kitty and I will be in Melbourne from the evening of the 10th through to the evening of the 15th August and are hoping to catch up with all the Southern folk on your "home turf" for once.

For me it's a working trip so from Monday > Wednesday I'm out of action but we do have the weekend to get something arranged!

A.

Are you driving or flying?
How about a GOR cruise or a visit to healesville sanctuary (via Kinglake )

You can always borrow the VW!

Any day except Sunday for me at this stage is cool for whatever happens.

There's always that usual pub in south melbourne that we seem to go to when you're in town haha

LMAO - Dan be careful what you offer we may accept it as a great idea

I can just see us "rolling with the high rollers" at the Crown Plaza with the pimpin' VW.

Suppose for the sake of clarity I should say we are staying at the Crown Plaza as work is sending me to this: http://www.itsmf.org.au/conference2007.asp and I've tipped in the extra bucks for us to both stay, and spend a few days in advance there.

We're up for pretty much anything, from drinkies to a cruise...

Haha, but if you get defected, it's your job to clear it

Hmm,...ok, what about a saturday cruise somewhere? General concensus? (THIS REQUIRES INPUT FROM OTHER MELBOURNE MEMBERS )

If I wear a suit and shades whilst driving is it more or less likely to happen?

It's all a mater of degrees. Is the sub cranked? Is the seat laid back? Is the roof open? Is your hair greased up, and is your woman hanging out the roof displaying her tatts at passing traffic?

I'm free weekends through August, so generally a Saturday or Sunday (as that's the weekend... DUH) or even Friday night should be good to meet up.

OMG we have the internets back, I thought it might get away from us but we caught it wriggling through the fence - little bugger!

Anyway........
C'mon Melb peeps, where are you?
Cosmo - sounds awesome!!!
Rupe - I can wave a few things out of the roof of the bug
Dogo - wooohooo it will be so awesome to see you again
SehnKahn - same goes, it's been far too long, and kick your bro up the backside & get him to come along too please?

Where's the rest of ya's?
It's an excuse to get together and catchup.
I know both Aaron and I would love to see as many peeps as possible as my travelling days are DEF numbered.
Please?

And for venue options, can we please be away from smoke and loud noise - unless it's from the Astina's of course

Hope to catchup with ya's all soon
*hugs*

Unless anyone has an objection I'll set a route from Southbank out to Healesville Sanctuary.
Lots of twisties, it'll start with a breakfast by the Yarra and end with bangers with the 'roos. Did I mention the twisties?

It's gonna be a BYO BBQ thing this time, outer staters PM me closer to the date
