EOI: BA fender braces
So i bought these fender braces above off YahooAuc a while back, and they're rubbish! Only half-welded and they weigh a freakin ton. I'm looking at getting a decent set made from oval tubular bar, in a lightweight alloy. If i can get interest for 10 sets (which is probably a big ask, i know), then they'd be around $220 a set . That's about $100 for materials and 3 hours labour a pair. What are they? They're a brace that sits behind the front guards, and stiffen the front end and reduce body flex. They mount to the door hinge mounts and the upper area of the inner guard/outer engine bay area. Anyone else interested in a set? Will be made to fit BA Hatch and Hardtop - might fit BA Protege as well if i can find one to test them on.

hey man.. what grade aluminium are you thinking ??? also just a thought, would they fit on a BJ??? with different bolt holes in those plates?? it make the braces with no bolt holes in them for the BJ owners. they can drill there own holes.. but this is all dependant on IF those plates are in the right location.. but u could always check with ur misses car tho..
I know a couple of BJ owns that might be interested if it all measures up

This is not about BJs. Too much dicking around, to be honest. If you want BJ ones, someone else can get them made.
