Well considering I spun almost exactly the same figures on my mechanics dyno, I would say it was pretty accurate.

He doesnt use a Dyno Dynamics dyno either. Same dyno as they use at AutoSalon... cant remeber the name for the life of me atm.

that's why i'm thinking it's the higher power dyno. above 200whp it's accurate, but below it's not

oh well it proved a couple of things .... twilight your mods are giving you around 20 - 25 % on the other sp20's and we now know that the slowtege makes no power but you can still rev the nuts off it... and odd12c ... wtf was with the airbag suspension giving you all that power hehe .... but yeah it was fun!!

Ditto

It was ace to finally put faces to all the names - and names to usernames

as said by critter - no dyno for me, but i knew that would possibly be the case before i went up.

a big thanks to Tweeks and Mia for the hospitality, and the huge effort for planning it all

see you all in October!

we missed you to buddy be there next time hey , nate yes i was told an extra 10kw at the wheels with airbags  j/k i dont no i thought my car was a pig [sluggish ] all show no go  hey twilight we has a bit off a discusion about your cars figures, an im sure the dyno is rite if it isnt f..k what r my real figures going to be, now we think that the reason its not getting the figures you want is because ur still running standard ecu now it dont matter how much you work its tits off if u dont change the computer so you can take full advantage off ur mods you will never get the car to perforn properly an good luck man your heading down the rite track

i think the important thing to remember here is that the dyno is but the be all and end all figures ... i put out only a coupld of kw's less than the stock sp20's i am happy

and i sure as hell know that andys car is quick ... bloody hell that think moves. he was making around 20% 25% more that a stocko sp20 which means he is around the 120kw mark so his estimate of 130whp isnt to far off.

anyway i am not getting into it i need sleeeeeeeppppp and i had an excellent weekend thanks a bunch to all

yeah the problem i see rod is that every lesser powered car put out less than it should, even yours!!! i just really had me stumped when i put out less power than pre-exhaust and now i only just fall behind my friend's standard 200sx when we take off from about 60kph

i will get another dyno done up here on the dyno i visited previously and see what happens

Another fantastic event planned by Kitty.... is there nothing that fantastic woman cannot do???

Sorry I could only pop in for half an hour on Sunday but the time that I spent there was very enjoyable and it was good to meet up with some new faces and see some new cars (and old ones too  )

I'll definately have to catch up with you all on the next one.

marty the sp20 isnt the quickest of 2.0L engines, but still you should have more power than that.....esp considering kw at the engine is usually hp at the wheels. then devide by 0.746 to get kw at the wheels. 98kw at the engine will usually produce 73kw at the wheels. i've seen this time and time again with the american protege5 forum
