FS: [QLD] BA Astina Series 3 ECU
Hi Guys,
Been relatively back-door dormant for a while. But I've been having issues still with my car's slow speed driving and take off (still a bit jumpy/lean mix with acceleration). Anyway, the mechanic had a fiddle with almost everything, and in his infinite wisdom, he placed the ECU in diagnostic mode and held his foot down at 2k rpm to find it "hunting". He bought one from the wrecker for $180 and put it in, and obviously it wasnt in diagnostic mode so the car didnt hunt at 2k rpm. Anyway, this wasn't even an issue and certainly wasn't why I sent the car into him. And I swapped my old ECU back in and out along with this newer ECU, changing between diagnostic mode (gnd and ten) and they both "hunt" at 2k rpm in diag mode, and both work perfectly when out of diag mode. Even the invoice from the mechanic says my old ecu is 100% fine (according to the computer and error codes). Regardless, i put my old one back in, and have the one from the wrecker for sale. Open to offers. Seeing as he wouldn't take a refund, I'm looking for around the purchase price ($180ish) but at your discretion to what it's worth. Thanks guys, James 0431 445 007
