silly meeting point. 50 cars down a dead end street. recipie for disaster if one person was stuipid infront of the 5 cop cars that rocked up everyone would suffer bigtime.

apart from that good to meet a few new dudes!

umm, it wasn't a deadend street at all.

if you'd hung around to go to the next point, you would have seen that the cops turned up, asked a few questions and left. So noone suffered.

saturday night i was pulled over by the cops.

they saw the intercooler piping and asked if it was some kind of chassis strengthening bar.

no i explained what they were.

the cops were good actually - I brought out the laminated engineers certificate , they took a look and didnt even ask to look under the bonnet

At the end they said they were impressed that I had done the right thing and wished me a good night.

A good experience with cops ! not something Im used to...

they even picked up that my rego had expired a few days ago but luckily I'd just paid it and had the papers with me.
