[QLD] FL.com & AGT.com Cruise - 24 April 2005

Putting the Word out to AstinaGT.com and inviting you all on another FordLaser.com cruise. It was great having you all on our last big cruise. Below is the basis starting point for the cruise. Chuck me some ideas so that I can build it up. I'll post updated information in this post so that don't have to scroll right thru.

Here is the link to the FordLaser.com Thread:
http://www.fordlaser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27165

DATE:

Sunday - 24th April 2005 (Next Day Monday is Anzac Day)

MEETING SPOTS & TIMES:

Aspley McDonalds
Meet up for 8:30am for Northsiders to leave shortly after and head down South.

Milton MacDonalds
Meet up for 9:00am to leave by 9:15am. I live in the area so will swing by Milton and head on down the Highway.

Mount Gravatt Look-Out
Meet for 9:15am on top of Mount Gravatt Look-out to head off down to coomera. Perhaps you might wanna co-ordinate it so you can meet the group coming from North?

Yatala Pies Carpark (Side of Pacific Highway - Opposide side to Yatala BP)
Meet here for 10:00am in the morning. All other meeting spots will join up here and then heard on out to the cruise Route.

If You happen to be running late or miss one of the spots just head to the next one. If all else fails just head straight down to Yatala Pies Carpark

ROUTE:

10:30 Leave Yatala Pies Carpark out to Murwullimbah Road, thru Oxenford Area. This is a nice sweeping, smooth road thru some nice landscape. I enjoyed driving this road alone.
Stop at Natural Bridge/Glow worms for a break, toilet and Picnic. Continue along Murwillumbah down into the town throught the sugar cane and head back up north again on Pacific Highway. There will be scenic stops and breaks on the way. All roads are quiet and scenic.

Anyone keen to go further into NSW? Perhaps Byron Bay?

WHAT TO BRING:

Camera, CB Radio, Full Tank of Fuel, Food/Picnic

CO-ORDINATORS

QuicKSilveR, Zamboni
Anyone else welcome to lend a hand. Looking for people to be leaders at each meeting spot?

Wanna chuck in some Highway stretches this time

Was thinking going down Murwillumbah Road (nice drive) down South and heading back up the higway. Details are not confrimed yet, hence lack of details.

Thinking Sunday 24th April (Monday being Anzac day Public Holiday)

The more cars the better, also to show FL guys that our group has increased since our last FL/AGT cruise.

Yeah, I think IF the whole Brisvegas brigade ever got together at one time it would be a monster cruise on it's own. But due to work committments from many that seams a hard task to manage...

Due to current and upcoming car projects I won't be attending the cruise on sunday anymore, hope that those who attend will have fun on the day. By The looks of the course it looks like it should be a great day.
