Dash Gauge Lighting
Hey guys,
I have a '96 BA hatch with a lighting problem... sorta... that makes the problem sound serious... and when i tell you you'll probably think im obsessive compulsive ... or... in worst case scenarios... gay. My dash lighting is that fugly green colour, and everything else is fluorescent blue... IT DOESN'T MATCH! (by everything i mean my stereo and interior neons ) So... to save myself the time and effort of taking off the dash to find out... what type of bulb emits that gross green colour... and will i be able to find replacement bulbs? I'm hoping they are LEDs... but i have a feeling in my stomach that they are not... this feeling makes me sick... almost as sick as the repulsiveness of my dash... so please reply a.s.a.p. thanks kids, FLiP. P.S. i always thought that my car was designed by chicks because of all the crazy storage places (i.e. TWO glove boxes and those "under-armrest" compartments for my street directory and cross-overs) ...but the colour choice severely contradicts my theory. |

Sweet!
You just answered my question... and any other question i could have possibly asked on the subject.
I think it might be an all-day, all-night, all-day kinda job. But im still looking forward to it, not to mention the results. Thanks again, FLiP P.S. I just realised this thread was in the wrong section... what was i thinking? |
