Who wants to give me a $2500 loan?

I have tried many places in the last few days to get a loan for my first astina.
NO ONE WILL FINANCE ME!!

I ask for help here as a last resort.
I live in Tasmania and there is an astina in victoria i want so bad!
I can take it for $1400 but need the extra to get over to Victoria, bring it back register it here then service
Even 2000 is enough.
I earn around $230 a week.

Is there anybody out there? i would be willing to sign a legal document from a lawyer for repayments up to 3 years. hoping to pay no more than $40 a week.

parents wouldnt loan me 4grand for a 94 sp so i looked for cheaper, a '90 model bg
i may have to resort to asking them but dad would be all "you dont know what the car's like, could be all sorts of things wrong with it"
unless someone close to melbourne can take a look and vouch that its in good nic (without stealing my buy, that is)

lol rupe is in Melbourne and fairly knowledgeable, hell he may even be able to organize shipping too lol. the worst he gonna say is no really but as far as money i wish i could help you out but i barely have enough left to get stuff for my car.

Mate Commonwealth bank can do 5k @ $43 a week for 3 years, if you can get the olds to go guarantor with you you should be laughing, that will also give you some money to play with for mods ect cos my bet is you keep getting knocked back cos you only want such a small amount

You may well find Banks won't bite due to your wage? There must be loan organisations you can approach less stringent than banks. Banks are less encouraged with lending to the young unless, as Ghoru mentioned, parents go guarantor! Have you considered applying for a Credit Card? Still, they'll want your last tax refund as proof of annual income mate! Sorry I can't think of a better option right now

ohnestly

on $230 a week - save your money.

forget a car.

I can't even afford to keep my mazdas right at the moment down to 1 job.

$230 what I use to get for 5 hours of driving a taxi around during a weekend -dead shift.

Save your money.

I use to not work for 3 years. after high school. All my money I Got from ways of working - all went to my cars, where are they now.

Don't bother putting a loan over your head for a old car.

Save your money - study hard get a better paying job - then look into a car.

You may not want to hear this but, may pay you to wait til' one pops up in Tasmania. No shipping/difficulty with rego & parents may be more tempted to assist you. I really think parents will be your only saving grace @ this stage mate!

loans also depend a lot on your weekly bills aswell. i think as a general rule if you have less then 30% (i think, it may have changed) of your weekly income left after a loan payment,rent/board etc they wont lend to you. there are also "payday loans" where they will lend you like up to 5k but the repayments are fairly brutal
