Exhaust Rust
Sorry to sound like a noob, but i got my catback exhaust installed about 3 weeks ago at castle hill exhaust. i got a 2.25 catback with twin tips. It's only been 3 weeks and i'm already noticing rust inside the tips of the exhaust.
What is the best way to prevent further rust? |

hmm, must be a dodgey job to rust so quickly. head down to supercheap/autobarn etc and get some rust proofer & rust converter. follow the directions to remove the rust, then rust proof the area

before you do anything, take it back to the exhaust shop & show them. It should not rust this soon and they should fix it.

lots of factors can cause this. cheap mild steel. condensation. salty air.
park it outside at night? get a cheap $300 job done? live near the beach? |
