I'll still do it (wouldn't say i'm keen but someone's got to!) But before i commit my seats there's some things that i want to know.

1. what covers the back of the back seats, the bit in the boot? I would assume they are doing the complete seats in the letherette.... Currently there's a carpet covering. Is is a possibility that they can use my current covering? (since they will have it there anyway) I often have bikes in the car as both frank and i cycle and having that heavy duty material on the back of the seats is important.

2. from the previous group buy thread... "correct. but if you do you will get a discount from a group buy and also the company will pay you commission on sales of the BJ model ones every order that is made." Does this apply?? got any idea how much it will cost for the person who sends in thier seats?

3. it says in the pdf that the style of the seat covers is the same as the factory trim, does that mean we can pick three colours like the original seats are?

4. Where (what town/state/country) would i need to send my original ones to? (just so i can try to figure out what the total cost of getting the retrim would be)

5. Is there instructions on how to take off the factory trim? i was having a look yesterday and it seems like for some parts the only way to get ot off is scissiors or unstiching.

6. Does this company do the matching gear boots aswell? if yes will that require sending it away too?

Sorry for having so many questions. I cant explain why i care so much, but it seems like a big deal to cut up my factory trim!

Front seats

Drivers seat

Passenger seat

Back Seats

Back of back seats 60/40 split

im not definate but im pretty sure the back seat is 2 different pieces. the material is one side and the carpet is another. so you will still retain the carpet in the boot.

to remove the seat covers i think you have to un hook it from the base of the seat,(its held in with a wire loopy thing) and roll it up and off.

i hope this helps, but im sure the organiser has a guide or something to help you out with detail.

Haha I do, and mine's about ten years older! Never gets used though because it's covered over by a seat cover.

im very tempted to go for this stuff..

but one thing that turns me off, is that it doesn't absorb moisture or anything.. and in summer, i don't really want to be sitting in a pool of sweat, and stick to the seat ...

other than that, i'm thinking about jumping in with this group buy as an xmas pressie to myself

shouldn't be too hard. the hardest part would be removing your seats.. then i think its just a matter of smoothing out all the wrinkles and making it look sexy

I'm not in a rush, but the sooner i know, the sooner i can decide whether to send them in or not.
