help with my pod question

hi can someone tell me i got this off my mechanic for my car he said use it to put a pod on the car..ok i know the back hooks up the the afm but how does the pod actually hook to it..

Thats not going to fit a standard 3" pod filter!
Best bet would be to purchase an adapter plate, with a pod, from somewhere like repco. Then you know they'll both fit together, plus fit your car.


However i did find this image. If you look closely you'll see that the pod has a much bigger fitting than the standard issue one. If you can find one of these filters (HKS) you'll be in luck.
