Saved a cat!
I'll be picking up a little male moggy on Tuesday Morn from RSPCA Bendigo (about 3 hrs from me ) I saw him on death-row there when I drove MX5 back from Adelaide the other week, sorta side-tracked before coming back home, & told em' to ring me if he doesn't get adopted. Well, after stating I wouldn't go up & back twice (once to sign papers & again to pick him up from vets as he has to ba spaded), the manager is allowing me to sign papers early morning & then around lunchtime, go to vet & pick him up same day.
So, I now have a 2 year old, white & grey moggy He's quite Got him some new bowls already lol

My fiance works for the RSPCA and it is great to see people adopting these poor animals. Good luck with the new family member.

20 mins into drive up to Ballarat (where we were staying Mon night, prior to heading to Bendigo on the Tues morn) get a call on the mobile: "just now, we've found a lady who thinks Eli (Cat) would be perfect for her aged Father.....bla bla .....bla bla"
Bottom line, I let Eli go to the lady. So, catless after all!

gotta hate it when that happens,
agreements arnt worth squat no more. ive had so many times things have been put on hold only to be sold just before i pick them up. (as in hold for 24 hours, 12 hours later they sell them)

Oh well come up to the RSPCA in Burwood, we lived right near there, and there are HEAPS of cats and new kittens anytime you go. I'm sure you will find a lot of Elis there....we got one 6 yrs ago now. They are all desexed already so you can go home straight away.

Yeah we got our cat from the local RSPCA as well at 6 weeks old, desexed and toilet trained. We've had her for roughly five years now I think, love her to bits.
