New Xbox Experience installed last night.
Its really nice - definitely going to give the Xbox an edge by making it more fun. I like that it encourages the social side of the console and especially that it helps to push out the smaller games that you don't see on shelves but are often far more creative and fun than the big titles. Things like the Penny Arcade adventures and Behemoth's 'Castle Crashers' and other community built games using the new open XNA developer kit. Having the box shot right makes for a great, easy to use interface and being able to install games to the hard drive is working well for me so far. It might be getting a bit more use than the PS3 for a while. The fact that most games on PS3 are a) expensive and b) only 720p is sh!tting me. |
