the ball????
just remover the old shifter by undoing the linkage under neath the car. then take out the o ring clip inside the car (this is after u remove all the interior pieces too) then it should just pull out.. grease up the new shifter and install in it place... u MIGHT have to remover the bottom rubber ring on the ebay shifter to get to sit flat ( i did) but then it should be fine

Grease every thing up really well including the outside of the cups. Moly (molybdenum)grease is your friend here not axle grease.

Thanks guys. I'll try to get some of that Moly grease, only have castrol HTB grease at home which is lithium or something. That'll have to do otherwise.

I read somewhere that Pedders suspension components (braces, sway bars etc) are just rebadged whiteline products. Can anyone confirm / deny this?

I was at Pedders HQ earlier this year and asked one of the R&D guys about rebranding and in short some items are rebranded but some are made to Pedders specs IE different wire thickness on springs or swaybars or different valving in dampers. Reason is to cut down on manufacturing costs etc...

What is the best way to get seized bolts undone? I don't have an oxy torch or anything even remotely similar.. but I do have weak girl hands :\
I read about atf/acetone doing the trick but it's all alot of people saying "thanks, i'll try that!" and no further reports so urrrrhh anyone tried it? |

soak the bolts in WD40, leave for 5 minutes and try again

No dice The wd40 has been on for about four hours now and so far no sign of loosening up. They're super seized.. the ones on the stock sway bar link, and I don't think they've ever been undone. Ahh well! More wd40 overnight then ^^

A longer handle on whatever you're using, and quick use of force, not just leaning on it with a lot of pressure.

what bolts/nuts are they?
quick force is better for releasing the pressure from bolts & nuts...constant force will undo most times but ive found a small percentage of the time it snaps the bolts...

The stock bolt (I assume stock) on the very end of the rear sway, that connects to the link thing.
