Gearbox oil... what to go with?

Hi I have a 02 manual 323 sp20 and was wondering what gearbox oil I should go with... the service manual recommends either 75w90 or 80w90 GL-4 or GL-5. I heard that GL-4 would be better on the syncros? I've looked around and found the Castrol VMX-M that is GL-4 for a good price but it is 75w85... will it still be any good and fine to use?

Thanks
