Sounds kool but it will never happen as the original 323F had pop up lights which are now illegal in Northern America, Europe, Japan and Australia. I don't see Mazda making something they cannot sell in their best markets.

pop-up lights are illegal?
Why? I assume, like seatbelts, cars made before a certain date dont have to abide by this law? |

but then again, why would u want bj lights on a 3? exactly ian, think about what you just said, if there is a date were manufacturs can't produce cars with pop up lights anymore, then why do u think a future model will be able to have pop up lights? they are illigal because they have pointy corners on them and will cause major injuries to people they hit |

yeah it's been editted cos when i last read it, it originally said, "based on the original 323F." hence the BG models.
pop up lights - yes illegal cos the can supposely kill people in the event of a accident, but if you are gonna hit someone that hard that you would, pop up or not, they are gonna die. ryan |

the whole pop up lights bein illegal is so that if you do hit someone that they can roll over the car, but if you got somethin like pop up lights it stops them from doin so...
its like with bonnet scoops how you can only have one that is the height of a rolled up towl...same reasons... it would be interesting to see what it would look like...

Its like the main reason fibreglass is banned.... because you wont roll over the car, you'll go through it and get squished on the engine... sounds fair, but getting squished on a front bar or squished on a red hot engine, your dead...regardless...guess its just a little less horrific for the people pealing the pedestrian off of the car. |

pop up lights ... mac truck ... pop up lights ... mac truck ... pop up lights ... mac truck ...
ill take the pop ups thanks would be cool to see the fastback come out again, but with the gobalisaition of the car industry you will see a model that is designed for the american market and not a trend setting item like the BG and BA, but still ... something like chunky looking than the 3 is at the moment
