Air-Con Problem
Hi all,
On the weekend my air-con stopped working. 1st I knew of this was on Monday. I decided it was hot, pushed he a/c button and nothing happened. air-con didn't turn on and the green/yellow light inside the button didn't light up either. Tried using the demister button, as it automaticly turns on the air-con, but didn't work either. I have so far checked both the fused in the engine bay and drivers foot well. All look good. Also checked the connections on the compressor and condensor too. And still all not going. What do I check next? Pull apart the dash and check the a/c switch/button? Other? Ryan |

Check the reciever/dryer (the aluminium canister that lives near the resonator). If it's open curcuit then you're outa gas.

if hes out of gas it has nothing to do with the electrics not working... sounds like your HVAC system has an electrical issue somewhere.. start by seeing where your power is going or not going to

But hey, why not pull the dash apart before doing simple tests?

Ah yes my bad the pressure switch is a saftey cutout so your compressor doesnt conk out but alot of the cars i have encountered with no gas still have the lights working on the display
