I dunno what to call it, so I did a "insert title here" for the thread.

After organising the skidpan day, it got me wondering if we could/would need a funds account manager/organiser for qld events.

There was roughly $20 left over from the last skidpan day, $10 of that could've gone towards a extra tray of sausages and a loaf of bread.

Something like doing bbqs on cruises and raising funds/money that can be put towards major events like skidpans / dyno days or other.

Example:-

$75ish = 81 sausages, 72 bottles/cans of drink, 1 bbq + 1 tom sauses, 4 loaves of bread, 1 marg tub, 1 bag of ice. (Enough to feed 25-30 people.)

So at $1 per item, 81 sausages = $81 and 72 cans = $72, total = $153ish.

Profit = $75ish. (To be put towards upcoming events in QLD.)

Thoughts?

we can do that..but a better thing to do is maybe donate it to the site, for upgrades on software and even hosting the site & domain name...

i think all monies raised should stay in their relevant state.

but maybe a small part of the profits could be passed onto admin to do all those things suggested. eg maybe 10%, so $67ish goes back into qld events, and $7ish goes towards the site?

some ideas of what the funds can be put towards:-
skidan days
dyno days
end of year party
site admin

suggest other/s?

We could set up a bank account as such? I mean I can set one up from work, and if its left in my name, will be charged no fee's whatsoever.

i think marc would be the rite person for this as we know he is trust worthy, end of year party sounds awesome but only if we could agree on a definite location for the party...

alot of banks are fee free. stupid people just don't change from commonwealth, nab and anz to other banks or building societies. i haven't paid fees in 7 years.
