AstinaGT.com Code of Conduct at Annual Meets & Cruises

Hi guys n gals,

A Code of Conduct is in the process of being written up.

Whether we are out on a state cruise or the Annual Meet, we all represent AstinaGT.com and as such, we should be presenting ourselves in a positive light (and we might even get a few new members out of it as well).
Bad behaviour reflects on AGT and having a few rowdy members ruin everyone else's fun is just not on.

To this end, we are writing up the code of conduct.

So, would anyone like to participate as to what our rules should be?
I'd like to have them completed and posted up here in the public forum by the beginning of March at the latest so that everyone has a chance to read them and understand them with plenty of time before the annual meet.

I'll be pruning this thread so that the information about the Code of Conduct (The C.O.C) stays current on the first page of the thread.

Please, this is your forum, your Annual Cruise and your voice, so please use it!

Cheers,
Your friendly neighbourhood moderating KittyWah

Someone may organise a cruise for example by creating a route, mapping the route using Google Maps or similar and then planning appropriate start and finish times including stops at points of interest and comfort.

Rules of Venue override and supplement any guidelines we have.

Organised runs start at the Organised time and will follow a predetermined route (allowing for mapping errors and travel times to shorten if required).

Only Organised runs are published on the website with all details known.

Ad-Hoc runs and individual drives are the responsibility of the individual/s and must be identified as such. If you're doing this and anything happens/goes wrong do NOT to identify yourself as participating on an AstinaGT group organised run.
This is a great start!

We are a group of Mazda enthusiasts, and in particular Astinas.
The folk on the side of the road do not know the difference between a group of enthusiasts and some rat bag with a Mazda spinning their tires. The best thing we, as a group, can do is to behave, as we are the ones with the stickers on our cars.

BTW we are a group of enthusiasts and not a club.

should this also be included in a thread titled "Representing AstinaGT with your stickers"?
