I have never been on one of these Annual Cruises but I believe they are really good. So I look forward to attending and meeting people... by then I will definately be driving and own a car. YAY

Well depending on where it is, I hope I can attend.

Pick something in NSW and I'm sure I'll be there

I reckon something more then a couple hours away from brisbane itself, more inland then say the usual coast spots. I'll start looking at places at home tonight (not enough time on my lunch at work)

What dates would everyone be happy with? Around Easter as planned before?

i've been through bathurst at easter, it seemed very quiet. don't think about doing the track at any impressive speed though, they had a radar trap on it!

Marc you do have a point - I think the "rough" (based on my Vodka and Rum clouded recollections) gist was:

Year 1: Dorrigo to lure Sydney and Bris peeps acknoledging Canberra and VIC has some long travels.

Year 2: South of Sydney to give Melb and ACT peoples a shorter run and Qld travels further. Also places it within a days drive of SA and offers Tassie a chance to get in on the act.

Year 3: Fun in the Sun in the Southern region of Qld to give us all a warm Easter - probably not GC or Bris but hinterlands etc. Pretty much short run for Qlds and a long trip for the rest of us...

Now I still like the idea of trying to move it around, but I also think Dorrigo is a great location to hit a good portion of people as us ACT (and I'm sure Sydney) are happy to host a Vic of SA member on their longer drive, as would say a Brissy or GC member be happy to host a Townsvillian or NTian...

But back on topic, we skipped a year and that's sad, but I think we should try to stick to the basic formula idea - "Middle, South, North"

Funds permitting I'll be anywhere it's held, maybe with the Astina Hybrid that is the Stinkmeister or in a rental to me that doesn't matter - heck we know Bourbs wants to bring a Mini and well we just have to be there to be making the size jokes don't we

A.

This year was intended to be in Vic but was moved to Forster due to about 200km of roadwork between Yass and Albury. Either way 2009 was scheduled for Queensland and I believe that promise should be honored.
Maybe 2010 can be inland NSW so the South Australians can come along.

im happy with what ever anyone picks...dorrigo would be good to do again...good thing is there not heaps busy at that time of year and also they like us too and we know we can get in...

its only a 4hr drive from bisbane...so not far at all...i would prefer to go back there if it meant more of the southeners would come...

and yes i would be in the MINI cause it would be a smooth drive and make it so much quicker...
