Double wishbone suspension transplant???

Hi,

Is it possible to transplant a double wishbone suspension into a BG Astina?

Its a silly question but if somebody has done this before, then please let me know if its worth it and how it was done.

Thanks

cut up a civic and hack it on... that's probably the "cheap" way to do it
but practically speaking... NO

double wishbone suspensions are very different and because of this, the chassis design is much different to allow the parts to fit

TheMAN, Thanks for a very practical answer. I was hoping that maybe someone creatively transplanted a double wishbone from a mazda 6, rx7 or a miata and lived to tell how he did it.

Anyway, if someone in the future trailblazes the idea, then please feel free to share.

Thanks,

I'd guess that the Mazda 3 would be the closest fit but I don't see the benefit Vs. the cost.
