I don't know if there's anything like this, or it's even worth it, but it would be a good idea for members of car clubs [such as ourselves] to get in for a slightly cheaper rate [say $10] if there are cars present at the show to create more of a "club presence" at these salon's..

Just an idea

I agree Adam.
If there were enough car expo's around (ie Motorshow, Auto Salon, Custom Car Show etc) it would be good for club reps to speak to organisers about this.
It may also encourage other enthusiasts to join clubs.

Cabin are complete tightasses when it comes to passes tho. the media passes were only valid for the one day and as usual they were pretty disorgainsed.

i couldn't believe it whern someone said that admission was $20! i assumed it'd be a max of $15...

Hye did you see the Red Celica (PETIR rego plates).
How mad was that!!!
I saw it driving round Southbank on Friday nite & had to look twice as I thought it was a Cleica, then a Lambo, then a Celica...

scary thing about that car - it was at Showoff in May, it was silver and didn't have the scissor doors! somone's been busy!

but the metallic lime gold S15 with the split boot, swivelling seats, hydraulic suspension and the scissor doors was one of the standouts for me.

that and the DUMPD lancer (widebody/19s/retrim) that was standard apart from being very low not that long ago...

Yeh.. the dude had the HOT4's magazine on the floor.. I did a double take at that one too!! If I remember correctly he had a pretty damn good boot install as well..

Me like that one too! There was also a Hilux ute a bit further over with a Holden V8 215i motor in it.. hyraulic suspension too. That was entertaining watching it jiggle around the place.. What happened with that "hopping ute" thing that was under the covers with a barrier around it?? Boyd & I missed what happened there??

I thought that $20 was just within realistic reason, but the queues were f@#$n' rediculus. (needed juglers and acrobats to keep 'em amused for that long)

I should add since it was REALLY appreciated that was good to see the big effort from both Dogo and CosmoDude to come up and meet us at Nunawading and the cruise over to Preston etc.
