Rattle, rattle, pop, wtf???
yeh something weird happened to me while driving today.
I was cruising along and all of a sudden car starts becoming slightly jerky and experience some power loss as i accelerate. I slow down for the upcoming red traffic light, then the rattling occurs..sounded as if its coming from under the shifter and towards rear muffler. And then the popping/backfiring occurs, its kinda like if u have a big ass 3" exhaust on a N/A car and it At this stage, im like wtf is goin on with my car and pull over to a side street. Pop up the hood and upon a quick inspection, nothing seems out of the ordinary. I start the car up and hear a single pop sound. Slowly drive away and 100km later, no dramas wotsoever!!!! Now can anyone tell me what happened to my car????????or give any hints/ideas on what to check out for??? Thanks!! |

Well if the butterfly is open from dot, it would upset the apple kart somewhat, and that US guy had his car coughing and farting when it was taking off...
Arden, you could try the Magnaflow axle-back for a bit and see if it makes any difference? |
