So, time for a quick update:
- Springs are getting installed on Friday , cant wait! - Looking for some new rims, I have some white TE37's in mind... 16" most likely (will look into this properly when the springs are installed, so I can see how much clearance I have to prevent tires from rubbing etc) - Will be buying some 6000K HID's soon, and painting the inside of the headlight housing black ... No more 8000K

6000k is plenty bright enough and you dont attract as much attention to yourself. |

If you're getting hids either buy German made quality or the $35 delivered kits...there's not much between them. I've got 3 cheap set, had one ballast die in 3 years.

So I spent the morning in hospital today... meaning no springs were installed , that'll happen some other time though.
Just grabbing some little bits and pieces here and there now, new mirrors (finally), clear side indicators (or I might just hit the ones I have at the moment with some Niteshades), and Im also looking at some euro-spec tail lights (similar to the ones Orion has) Also, where would be the best place to get some Supergrid wipers?

Also I found this guy selling an overlay which blackouts the taillight indicator parts which will match the smoked side indicators if you're going for it, it's only $15 plus $6 shipping from US - http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...38_22_full.jpg I think I'm going for those :P |

Me. They're only available from Japan - eBay have nothing like them for sale.

Bosch make there Aerotwin wipers, I have had a set on my car for 4 years and they are still as good as new.
They look almost as good as the supergrids but are half the price when on sale at repco/ stuporcrap or Autobarn. When I get my car back I will take a pic of them to show you what they look like. |

As far as I know they are fitted on those new Corolla and Camry 2007 onwards so I think some Toyota wreckers should have them. Otherwise go with Aerotwin wipers / Aero wipers which are the same as those new Commodore; Omega

the problem is, many new cars have longer windscreens, so the wipers are also longer.... I looked at many recent cars that have those style of wipers but I haven't found one with matching lengths yet... if you do find one, please let me know!
