Ok, well it was raining on my way back from getting tuned yesturday. All I can say is that 5th gear wheel spin is NOT fun! Well, ok, yeah it is!!! All the hard work over the last couple of months has paid off.

Nice Rob, you gained a lot of power there! Do you know how to make sense of that Lb reading on the right? Mine makes almost 630Lb, whatever that means in metric...

There's a topic we did a discussion on a few months back. Twiggy found the formula to convert to Nm. Will have a look see.

I did a search and couldn't find anything, I looked on google and only got ft,lbs to Nm... That Lb on the dyno is more than ft,lbs, maybe 3X as much?

:S This isn't much more than i got last time. I dunno. :S

dyno dynamics output tractive effort or something which is sort of their own formula. the above formula will not work. that formula is for converting HP at a given rpm into ft-lbs torque

Zed found the formula a while ago, but dont know if it was here.

so rob for your graph your 273hp is at redline say 6000rpm. so (5252 x 273)/6000 = 238 ft lbs torque. 1 ft lb of torque = 1.36Nm. so at that point you had 323Nm of torque.

your peak torque was at 4500rpm. so at that point you were making around say 230hp. (5252x230)/4500 * 1.36 = 348Nm of torque.

so in otherwords, work out your torque from the HP curve not the torque curve since it's weird.

Awesome to hear the results. I am sitting at 208whp atm but really need a new
better turbo so hoping for similar results when I do.

I am looking at a GT28RS. The thought of a GTR turbo has always been there but
seeing I already got a custom turbo manifold with a flange that just needs redrilling
for the T25 flange may as well go that way. I got the GTR intake and throttle body
already fitted as well as 3" exhaust and I/C pipes and 800mm Hybrid cooler will cross
the injector upgrade when needed so yeah once done should hopefully get similar
figures to you
1 question mate. Can you post up a pic of how you fitted the fuel reg to the motor
looking at shifting mine around a bit and a little up in the air about attaching it and the
gauge correctly.

Ta

Mal

I think it is because I have been up since 4.30am, but when I first read that I thought you were talking engine conversions.

I need more sleep.
