Should be the Pink one, Book says 'P' just 'P' but if the contractor only had something close then that is what you got....

P is what comes out of the aerial. Red is what it should be when it gets to the stereo.
Should hopefully be red. *crosses fingers* whatever color it is, it's pin 2D on the stereo, which is on plug 2. Plug 2 is the one with a block of 6 pins ( 3x2) then 1 pin on the bottom in a block of 4 , then 4 pins ( 2x2 ) Its the middle one on the block of 6, on the bottom row ( there should be an empty pin next to it ) Code:
[2A][2C][2E] | [XX][XX] | [2K][2M] [XX][2D][2F] | [XX][2J] | [2L][2N] u want pin 2D |

I agree with it being pin 2D, colours can change over the years due to different sub contractors ect... and are reflected in different editions of the manuals. I just looked at my spare '96 dash loom and 2D is pink with silver bands (no trace)
Here it goes for all the wires: 2A +12V from ignition 2B No connection 2C +12V from battery 2D To antenna 2E Dash illumination 2F 2H No connection 2J To center speaker amplifier 2K Left frount speaker + 2L Left frount speaker - 2M Right frount speaker + 2N Right frount speaker - 3A Left rear speaker + 3B Left rear speaker - 3C No connection 3D No connection 3F Right rear speaker + 3H Right rear speaker - 3I No connection 3J No connection 4A Earth Code:
[2A][2C][2E] | [XX][XX] | [2K][2M] [3A][3C] | [**][**] | [3I] [2B][2D][2F] | [2H][2J] | [2L][2N] [3B][3D] | [3F][3H] | [3J] [4A] ISO pin-out If you understand the diagram then you can write down the colours before cutting them from the plug

Thanx. its the pink wire. New question. On my headdeck the remote wire is use to raise the power aerial up/down, but has power when the cd is to and im using that wire in the amp. Any way to get around this????????

I simply split the wire and ran it to both.
As I usually listen to cd's (My partner drives through a point where all the radio stations change freq on her way to work, so the radio drives her insane and we just use cd's). Because of this, i simply put a switch in the join between the headunit wire and the aerial one. that way I leave it down when using cd's, but if I want to use the radio the aerial still functions off the headunit. Does this make sence? Is it any use?

Unless the headdeck has a wire that turns on or off when the cd is in theres no way to make it put the aerial up/down when the only the radio is being used.
I'll post a pic of where the switch I use is (not that its that exciting) after I've had my tea ;-)

Its hardly exciting but heres the switch - its just a pin rocker switch.
Up is aerial up, and down is down (surprise!) The wire off the headdeck runs through this, so its on up, then it still goes up/down when the cars on/off. Theres plenty of other places you could put it - but I've used most of them, and this was convienient.
