How to remove BA switch gear??
As I'm dismantling my donor BA, I have encountered a challenge removing the column switch gear..I'm talking about the headlight and wiper switch gear.
Has any one the experience of this job.. steering wheel is off.. and it would appear that the whole unit 'should' slide off the steering shaft.. is there some type of Vulcan nerve pinch process to claim the switches? its not budging. theres a kind of plastic push tab on the back, but pressing that has no effect.. Ideas brains trust? Thanks |

There is a tab underneath that needs to be lifted. It will likely break but good luck.
