Question about fitting on windsreen
Hi,..I've a BJ II 2002 1.8L Astina. I'm wondering what the small electronic looking box situated at the top LHS of the windscreen is. It has a length of co-ax cable attached, which then goes behind the vertical w/screen trim.
Is this a phone-aerial? I've seen one on a Astina in one photograph which has a short hard to recognise fitting on the outside of the w/screen. Tks for any comments... Cliff |

I have a small black antenna in the top of the passengers side of my car which belong to my DAB+ receiver.
From the sounds of your description it is a cell phone antenna. Most likely for a now outdated model. |

Pull the trim off, follow the cable and if it's not connected to anything then you can get rid of it. If it is connected to something then you'll find what it's connected to and what it's for.
