All this with no Air compressor. Effort well done guys considering the temp was well into the 30s today.
Again nothing done to Mats and my car as we were too busy helping others!
Nothing happened to my car either... Except the lunch run

this^, plus people don't care if they run into you or care enough to run proper winter tires on their cars. Im not willing to take the chance that someone might slide into my Mazda, so i have a nice turboed AWD car for the winter and all the snow we receive. Its just become a part of life and modding cars, if you want them to last around here you cant drive them all year.

nothing more scarey that hearing ya wheel mounting surface slapping against your wheel hub while cornering.

never done it at the track though. but once when i painted the brake on a old car i owned. just tightened them up while wheels off ground, but not final tighten while wheel on ground.
cheap ****e alloy nuts have a problem also with track day temps sometimes.

yer i tighened them up on the stands and when the car was on the ground.. but the problem was i went for a drive and then didnt re tighen them again. as im running 2 degrees on the fronts the actual rims didnt settle on the hubs right. and then the head from the track mad it worse and yet.. thats what u get..

ordered some steel one now

ow and not that this counts to do with this but my BIG BRAKE UPGRADE IS IN AN WORKING GREAT (if the wheels done knock or fall off haha)

I've had an intermittant left hand turn blinker problem for a few weeks. Sometimes it worked fine, sometimes the front went out, yesterday the front left parking light was blinking instead of the blinker.
I finally traced the problem to bodgy wiring from an old repair, although I had to take out the headlight before I could reach it.

Car has every bolt ( plus about 15 more!) back in. I also welded the rear engine mount in with epoxy as it had snapped off the whole side of one of the mounting points! And the other had stripped. So its stuck good now and hopefully no more banging on chasis. The only thing i replaced was the front and rear engine mounts, oil and ps belt...on the cheap!

Ellen and i jacked up the car, bled the brakes and swapped the battery and put it back together (half an hour!) in a mad rush before the wedding we are going to shortly. Aside from missing front mounting bracket for the gearbox which i stupidly left at home and the brakes still not 100% it runs well.
