Yeah ok, so you don't actually have it sucking from the front bar, as long as it's not sucking from the engine bay. Thanks guys, thats some food for thought.

Do we have 10 people for group buy?
How much would 1 outside of group buy cost?

a one off would cost alot... because we have to pay a tooling charge we otherwise wouldnt have to pay for....I imagine the GB will kick on just as soon as we get the prototype quote and install, finalise design etc...all of this i hope to happen this week (will be chasing up the prototype manufacturer tomorrow) |

Get me 50 customers, and we'll do it
volume isnt an issue, our manufacturers is tooled up for MUCH bigger jobs (we could probably order 30 000, and they'd still get them done by lunch time) The issue is somewhat of a lack of capital - and the fact that the BA isn't the market anymore (BJs are even being surpassed, in favour of the 3).. Should we get firm, continued, long term interest, we'd definantly give it a crack - but our ability to keep up with an international demand would force at least one of us to quit our dayjob Baby steps... like i said, if demand is there we'll fill it, but we're not going to attempt to artificially stretch the demand, when we're only just starting off. Thanks for the continued vote of confidence though pr1mo |

grr no freebies :P
we have R&D costs to recoup... (and i think we need to sell 10 of these things just to get that back *eek*) But in all seriousness, the more people buy, the cheaper it gets, so its in everyones best interest to hassle their friends, family, pets, grandmothers etc into buying one that way we're all happy.. =) |

Good News!!!
Right about now, as I type this, Jared (the 3rd b3motorsports partner) is picking up the mild steel prototype bends for the BA intake.
Final fitment and alignment will be made from this pipe, before it is packaged up and shipped off to our manufacturer in sydney to conversion into pretty aluminiumiumiumiumiumiumiumiumiumiumium bits. When its sent to sydney, we will start gathering moneys for peoples deposits, and i'd expect a 2 to 3 week turn around once deposits have been made for the initial manufacturing to be complete. At that point we'll get the final payment, weld the bracket and the crank case ventilation bung on, give it a quick polish up with a rotary buffer to get the finger marks off them, and they'll be packed up and shipped to your door. So we're finally getting there. Thanks for your patience, i know some people have been waiting a long while for these to be finished!. If you want to pre-order one now, give me a PM and i'll give you the details. Cheers. edit: we're after a decent name for the thing.. K&N have the typhoon, and so forth....we were thinking the B3Motorsports PHWOAR cold air intake. |
