Jamboree 2006

another win for me!

did it hard - raced through 5 rounds.

would have had a real good run in the final but backed off at half way to cruise through for a high 16 pass - the other guy broke something off the line which was karma big time (dobbed in the guy i was going to race in the final because he was doing 10 second passes but didnt have a tech inspection) - but i did a 2.007 60 ft time in the final (previous best of 2.02x).

just for the record too, the alcorn brothers made the all motor final as well with glenn (again) taking the win thanks to jason cutting a red light (but setting a pb in that car).

tim aka mazdabator set a pb in his car as well. a 13.8x i think. good picture of him :

waiting for more pictures to be posted. i've entered in 5 events with 4 wins to date. yay!

mazdabator ran a 13.83 i think...

Great work Andrew

Some REALLY fast cars out there - big Pro Compact and 289 class, massive pro turbo contingent (PAC vs Camrydore on sat was simply the best drag race i've ever watched)

Queenstreet quad rotor sounded like a beast especially on the last run where they just went for broke.

Really awesome weekend - I had a ball. Well done to all the AGT guys that ran out.

Blue 3 is the Snertspeed SP23 Turbo.... and he had a clip come off on his intercooler pipe and lost all boost.

Hahahah why not? these things are SERIOUS rotor fests... stacks of 13B's in the mid to high 7's, pro turbos with 20B's thumping down at 7.01 seconds :P.. Quad rotor didnt go that fast, but was god aweful noise at the back half of the straight...totally awesome....

You wont have to drive far to watch next time out... next meet is the first round of the ANDRA series in november at WSID, then Summerslam in sydney in either jan of feb?

they have show 'n' shines at most if not all events too... so bring the RX8 along and join the festivities
