BG Astina vs. 323 GTX 4WD suspension???

ok peps, just trying to find you the difference between the BG astina and the BG 4WD suspensions.

BG / TX3 suspension are the same, just wondering what the differences are for the 4WD versions.

i have heard the rear struts are shorter and the top mounts are different.

can anyone help please?

The shocks, springs and top mounts can be easily changed (and probably should be) if you were to adapt the AWD rear to a BG. The thing I'd be concerned about is getting all the right fuel tank gear to clear the rear prop-shaft.

sorry but thanks anyway. i didn't ask that question. i asked for the differences in the suspensions. looking at the difference in the top mounts, bolting point on the bottom of the struts etc.

Humph,
Do the bottom mounts on the struts match?
If so (and I'd guess that they do) then the shock/spring combo for the BG is designed for the extra weight and length in the ass. If so then don't **** with the GTX combo 'cos it is wrong for your chassis.

yeah i know that, the oils in the shocks and springs can all be adjusted so the chassis problems aren't an issue.

it mounting points that are my main concern.

OK,
The top plate (where the strut mounts to the chassis) has a hole in the middle where the shock bolts on. A drill and/or washers can/will make the BG GTX compatable with the BG Astina, else you have answered your own post.

Rx-7 Series V suspension is compatable with my HB ES 929. It's just a case of screwing around with all the parts until it fits.
