camp quality convoy this sunday 18/11/12

So this sunday there is a truck and motorbike convoy and Family fun-day put on by the local illawarra radio station I98FM from appin mine down to albian park (croome rd sporting complex)

This is a pretty big day for the illawarra as such a small community comes together to give the childern with cancer hope and a day for them to forget all about cancer and treatment, and just enjoy them selfs as all kids should be able to, and becomes quite touching to see all the childen riding in the trucks blowing the horns and waving out the window with a massive smile on there face

this will be the 8th year for the convoy and in the past 7 years it has rasied over 1.6 millon dollors for CAMP QUALITY.

to get an idea of the day it is limited to 750 trucks and there is about 800 motorbikes. and there is an auction for the lead truck, last year the lead truck paid around $68000 to lead the convoy.

so i'm just letting anyone who would like to come along and wave/clap and show support for the childern of camp quality.

i will be at the top of bulli tops at 6:30am to get a spot as they fill up quite quickly
The convoy kicks off at 8am and i would love to see a bunch of fellow AGT member come and show there support with me.

I see that its for kids with cancer etc but way too far for me.... that and the fact that I would have to get up at like 3AM

Hey, guys as ive told Andy ill have to confirm again, but i should be able to make the event

Ill just get there when most are, so 7am? When does the event finish?
Also how much does the event cost? Im assuming it costs to raise money for camp quality.

costs nothing to watch mate, just supporting the cause!
it finishes when there are no more trucks or when you get sick of it!

also, cruise to visit ben at work??

it's all free dude, you don't have to donate anything if you don't want to man if you go to the fun day then it's just or the proceeds that get donated to if you buy a drink and a sanger then you've help donate, but as far as the convoy it's just for a bunch of truckies get together and have a reason to drive the trucks in convoy like we do in car cruises, and allow the kids to ride in a truck, and heeps ( and i mean heeps) of people gather on the side of the roads to show there support to the childern and stuff of camp quality and the truckies and motorbike riders that we do oppriciate what they are doing.
