hey guys and girls,
just thought id introduce myself. My name is Dean. Iv had my 03 Astina SP20 for about 10 days now. This site has been good to me so far even before i purchased the car i was able to research about the SP20's. So I purchased the SP20 for a really good price with 12 months rego, first owner, standard after selling my old car. The requirements for my new car, were something fun, standard, and easy to drive. After my last few cars i just wanted a normal car. Im really happy with the SP20. I was influenced in this purchase after mum had a maroon KQ laser. I dont have a picture of it yet, but its the same dark blue as Marcs SP20. Im going to keep it standard so I'll prob just poke my nose in to ask questions when they arise rather than running a "my ride" thread. Heres a few of the past few cars iv had, hence the normality of the SP20: cheers, dean. probably the most modified Pajero in Oz, the Jabber: My old SWB Pajero, i still miss this car... My old lancer that i loved, ahahhah i still miss this car too... |

The real question is - is it a sedan or a hatch?

orion - its a hatch. i really like the hatches. hahaha the sedan vs hatch a bit like holden vs ford is it????
marc - mate mine looks exaclty like yours would if it were standard. same colour. As far as mine though, more than likely keep it standard, that was the whole point in getting a new car, get somethings thats nbice to drive straight out of the box and LEAVE IT ALONE. ahahha my cars for the last 7 years have all been modified., and im over the money side of things. I sold my pajero, bought the SP20 and pocketed a few grand in the bank. So I ended up with the SP20 with 12 months rego, insured and in my name for ~$10,000. The only thing im likely to do to it is change rims when the tyres wear out. Most likely with a set of cx7 or rx8 rims. dean. |

cheers mate, yeh it was my pride and joy, but just not getting used. So have now once again, modded a car and not got anywhere near what is it worth, glad you like it though mate cheers. it featured in 4WD Action Magazine and DVD in August 2008 edition. Heres a few more piccies from the article and a link to the article itself. For now though, just loving driving the SP20, it handles a little different to the old girl.
cheers guys, dean http://www.4wdaction.com.au/articles...e-perfect-paj/ |
