Sounds good guys, im getting my car finished off this week so it can be re-registered and ready for the cruise.
Sorry I've been absolutely slaughtered by work lately so I haven't had much time to come on here and post. What start time is everyone comfortable with on the saturday? cause preferably, it would be good to have a start thats not late, and not very early, that we can go for the start of the cruise then end up somewhere for food, then some more cruising on the way home. I'll try to stop procrastinating and finish off the cruise schedule tonight or tomorrow night so its all ready for people to make revisions based off their own needs. |

Hehe, well if you dont want to drive for that long I might have to re-organise a few bits
Basically, I have made up the "test" route and we can change it as you want, the test route takes all the BEST places. Plenty of places to stop as well for drinks, chats and photos. The cruise basically has three major sectors, I would call it, much like a rally 1. The full nasho sector 2. Maquarie pass 3. Kangaroo Valley. we can omit any of them, but the nasho is really a prerequisite. 2 and 3 are pretty much joined. ************************************************** ******* Start point: 18 Arab Road, Padstow. - Padstow Macdonalds. If your coming south on the M5, its a LEFT turn onto the Fairford RD/Davies RD exit at padstow/revesby. Good for a meet, greet and COFFEE! oh and fatty food. From maccas, we turn left onto Davies RD, just up from the maccas is a big Shell servo for anyone that needs fuel, red bull, ciggies. 3. Basically just keep heading along davies road till it turns into alfords point RD, and into the Bangor BPS. Do a little squiggle and it takes us into the top of the nasho. 4. have fun through the nasho! then it takes us along the ocean road and through to coalcliff and then wiggles back up and around until we pop up out onto the southern FWY. 5. From here we jump around onto the illawarra HWy that takes us through Maquarie Pass, through the kangaroo valley and woodhill mountain. 6. POP! were at Berry. ************************************************** ******** Stops; 1. Maccas and fuel first obviously! 2. *unsure... :P * 3. The carpark sitting where the hangliders fly at stanwell tops. 4. The pie shop at the top of maquarie pass. 5. Berry for food, beer, coke whatever. ************************************************** ******** Note, this is a BIG cruise, so if anyone has aversions we can change it, ie, have a shorter cruise of. 1. The full nasho 2. cruise the curvy roads to Kiama and have fish and chips on the ocean wall! plenty of photo and social chances on the kiama trip. |

well, my pink slip can only be described in the best internet phrase ever. epic fail.
knocked me back on two things. 1. numberplate lights blew out, thats nothing. 2. when I got into the store, he ran it for 15 minutes in idle on the one spot... and it dropped some oil. plus the oil that was remaining on the lower half of the engine. Not a bad leak at all but DAMN it was a thorough pink slip, when he usually does the dodgy. must have been a bad day? THEN he offered to buy the mazda from me for 500 bucks! I tried to get in and do pink slips at 4 other local places but everyone was maxxed out, and its too hot and im tired. So the car will be unregistered by midnight and its being sold. cant be effed anymore. So ill be at the cruise, but on my motorbike. |
