Roadside assistance for cars over 16 yrs old
I have been looking for roadside assistance for my 1992 mazda but all I have come across don't provide assistance for cars over 16 yrs old!
Anyone know of any? I'm in nsw. All I found was Nrma |

Most of it runs out of insurance companies. Both them and other organizations don't see cars over 10-15 years of age as a market.
Majority want you out of a ten year old car an in a new and another new one in 5 years time. Reason being the demographic. It's polite way of saying we will serve it to you if you are insured with us so we can write off your car. For them cars over ten years old are driven by people who don't normally have full comprehensive insurance. Those who do - use specialists like Shannon's or similar. The other item they find is those who keep older cars either know how to repair them or don't drive them far either way. NRMA are the one's left mainly because they also subsidise and contract out for other So called road side assistance. |
